September’s Showcase Programs are Technology Support Systems and Network Systems Administration:

The Technology Support Services (TSS) course offered by WTC is an entry level “Help Desk” program. The course teaches students computer hardware, software, troubleshooting and repair of all systems hardware and software issues. After passing two certification exams students will become industry certified with a CompTia A+. The CompTia certifications are industry recognized as one of the top certifications available. WTC had a 100% pass rate for the CompTia A+ industry certification exams during the 2014-2015 school year.

The Network Systems Administration (NSA) course offered by WTC is an advanced course which readies the student for the CompTia Network + industry certification exam. This is an entry level Network assistant program. With a few years of experience students can advance to become a Network Systems Administrator. It is recommended that students become CompTia A+ certified before attempting this course. This course can also ready a student for the CompTia A+ certification if the student has prior experience in the field. WTC had a 100% pass rate for the CompTia Network+ industry certification exam during the 2014-2015 school year.

Public Safety Training Center

Located at the Withlacoochee Technical College in Inverness, Florida, The Citrus County Public Safety Training Center currently offers Law Enforcement, Corrections as well as, Advanced Training courses for Criminal Justice professionals. All of our programs offer the highest level of academic and practical preparedness for active professionals and anyone interested in starting a new career.
