Withlacoochee Technical Institute offers a variety of programs for students and community members to obtain their GED. GED Orientation is every Monday @ 8:30AM except school holidays. Testing space is limited and applicants are accepted on a "first come basis". You must attend orientation in person and bring your Florida photo ID, Social Security Card, and Test Fee. (All Test fees are non-refundable). WTI students are strongly recommended to participate in one of the following programs (a minimum of 12 hours) before testing. Testing

Orientation is every Monday (except Holidays) 8:30 am Room 118

GED Testing Information

1. Testing requires four & one-half (4.5) hours on two (2) consecutive days. Nine (9) hours total.
2. Testing is offered twice a month on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
3. The fee is $70.00 for the entire test battery. A fee of $14.00 shall be paid by each applicant for each retest taken, except writing, which will increase to $16.
4. You must bring Testing Fee, proof of Florida Residency, Photo ID & Social Security Card to orientation.
5. Applicants must attend orientation before testing. GED Orientation is every Monday (except Holidays). We accept applicants on a first come basis. Testing space is limited. 
6. Special editions or accommodations are available upon request.
